I GOT LOCKED OUT, BUT STILL SAW HER.

Away from the drama at the stall where we had to go on a three day leave, hence this explains my absence from this spot. Sylvia has been arrested once again for similar assault charges and she is yet to post bail after spending the better part of Sunday behind bars. Jay has taken the opportunity to file child custody suit which he seeks to have the full custody of the child he has been denying for the better part of the year.
Schools have been holding prayer rallies at this time of the month. It is the visible legacy of Matiangi who had decreed this way some time back. Even in the current administration of Amina is not in a hurry to suspend this move. With this in mind, I joined the rest of other parents to Londiani Girls Academy to pray for the girls to have some humble and ample time during the KCSE 2018 exams.
But there was trouble.

Profiled as a mugger

At the gate, I was blocked from accessing the place since I couldn't prove to the gate men that I was related to Doris and Miriam. It seems that they were very suspicious of my dreadlocks. Even the attempts made by Tom to plead on my behalf. They would have none of it.
"Enda utoe hizo nywele kwanza."
"Nyinyi ndio mnaibia watu masimu huko town. Tunawajua."
I had been profiled as a mugger by the illiterate gate people. I gave up and waited at the car for Tom. I didn't leave before throwing some choice insults at them. I even promised to them that should my friends find them in town, they would receive a thrashing.
I only hope that they don't get mugged because if they did, I will be in some serious trouble!

I need a fresh retouch

But opportunity came at the hour when the rains started and some of the parents got in without being searched. I joined in the crowd and as a result, I got rained on. So I will need to visit the salon to get a fresh retouch.
"Babe!" It was Doris. She hugged me despite the drenched state I was in. Remember the Croatian President at the WC Final?
"Sasa Rastaman?" Miriam gave a handshake but when Doris insisted, she hugged me quickly before withdrawing to her original position.
We had a nice time thereafter though it felt odd that I had slept with the two girls. Trouble is that one knows and the other doesn't.
That should also remain the same way.

JUSTICE DENIED!

She was released yesterday. Now she will be back to terrorise the stall once again with her two brothers. Sylvia was briefly detained and released after Susan went to bail her out, and this has earned her the wrath of Jay who has promptly added her to the list of people who should never set foot inside the stall again.

"If she ever comes here or I smell her scent inside this place..I will fire all of you!"
Jay gave the order. He had also reinstalled the CCTV cameras back in place after the incident that occurred yesterday. He has just left the place after leaving behind three men, one of whom I recognized as the beefy, gangly brother.

People at the village called him Osama due to his love for blood and terrorising people. He was just six months old as he was released from prison after a three year stint for assault. The other two were new but they had the scars to show for the years that they were in crime, or so I thought.
Jay has reinforced security at the stall after Sylvia was released

Lost revenue during the brief chaos

"Rasta, leo ni kubaya."
"Kabisa. Sidhani kama Sly atakuja tena."

True enough, she didn't dare to show up after being released. Tom on the other hand, is still fuming over his lost thermos flask which he had bough two months ago. He had also lamented at how much money he had lost during the brief chaos at the stall.

"Imagine I had spent 1,400 shillings on that thermos which that mad woman ruined!"
"You'll buy another one."
"I have, but she will have to compensate me for this loss."
"Really? Have you heard that she has been released from custody?"

He sweared harshly at the news.

Tom sweared harshly. It was the first time since last year to hear him say such cuss words.
"But why? Now I will kill that bitch!"

We all looked at him. 'Osama' and his gang looked on. They were feasting on Tom's delicacy of tea and cake which Jay had payed for and even added them to the Stall ration supply. Looks like prison was a bad place for them given how much they wolfed down that snack in less than five minutes.

"It was Susan who bailed her out."
"Wait and see." Tom kept quiet to contemplate how rigged the justice system was against men. But outside here, Sylvia will have to pay for it. For now, it was a temporary case of Justice being denied to Tom.

CHAOS AT THE STALL

While work rumbled on without much fuss since Miriam returned to school, Sylvia wasn't done yet trying to cause drama that would embarrass Jay, the stall owner. Yesterday, her friends at the salon came over to warn us about today as they had overheard her talking to some people over the phone.
The subject was how to destroy the stall in order to get back at Jay for humiliating her two weeks ago. They warned us to be alert for any kind of sabotage that Sylvia was up to.
We were all tense and ready for the inevitable. Felix even abstained from his usual booze and kept a crude weapon just in case Sylvia made good her threat to attack the stall. Jay didn't take anything to chance and we were ordered to work overtime till 10 in the night.
Trouble is, will Jay pay us for that?

Concerned about the business.

Today, we relaxed a bit and began doubting the warnings made to us by the salon girls. Could they be trying to lull us into some business complacency so that our business could go down? Sylvia once worked with them and they were still the best of friend too.
"Rasta, wanatuchezea."
"Enyewe. So we will not work because of one mad woman?"
Tom came in and served us tea. He was also concerned about the Sylvia case since if she made her sabotage threats real, he would lose valuable business and also company. So he stood by us and waited for the worst to happen.
Then it came to pass.
Sylvia and some two guys approached the stall. Felix had fished out his weapon and I wasted no time to pick a block of wood and waited to strike at anyone who attempted to enter the premises forcefully.

Chased the men away

"Hahahaha..You think that you will stop me?"
She started throwing rocks at us. Tom's thermos got hit and Tom became angry. He grabbed Sylvia by the arm and almost landed a slap but one of the men restrained him. Tom instead punched the man who landed inside a culvert.
"Niache!"
"You will pay for that thermos!"
We also joined the fray by chasing off the bewildered man left standing after seeing his friend land in the culvert. He also got up and fled. When we came back, Tom was handing over Sylvia to the policemen.
She was arrested but we had lost precious business time too.

JUST KEEPING IT CONFIDENTIAL

I'm back to work and Miriam reported back to school to join her friend as they await the form four mock exams. I have come to accept the reality that I had breached one of the values that I had vowed to protect six months ago when Doris accepted my romantic proposal.
I had promised to be there for her only.

Those were words. They could not withstand the serious temptations that a wily Miriam threw at me. I crumbled under the little pressure that Miriam applied to me and I found out the hard way (or is it sweet way?) that I am only human. I am no Jesus who withstood the temptations that the devil gave him.

Come to think of it. My spirit was that willing but not my flesh. It reminded me of the quote in the bible where the spirit was willing but the flesh is weak. But I took consolation at Miriam's words where she vowed to keep the whole thing under wraps. She won't tell her friend and so will I.
"Rasta, why are you this low?"
"Nothing. Just tired."
"You watched Fall into temptation?"
"Yeah."

As long as we keep the game going

I had to lie to Tom just to avoid the line of questioning which today I found it annoying. Tom couldn't  read the signs. Felix came into the fray and dropped the dreaded bombshell.
"Ule dem alisema?"
"Dem mgani?"
"Miriam. Si niliwacheki mkiwa town jana."
Holy shit. What in the name of heaven was that? Now Felix knew what we did or did someone squeal it out to him?"
"We just met. Nilimwacha town."

Thankfully, the topic died. I was relieved that no one noticed her or me or us together. We were careful not to alert anyone of our presence and that was why I had to rent a room in town just for the night where we had our night of sweet fun..
I don't plan to let it out to anyone about this. This is a secret that I  intend to keep it hidden as long as it would take. Miriam had also promised to let me know some of Doris' secrets but on the condition that we keep the game going on.

DANGEROUSLY BLURRED LINES

There's something sweet about illegal things. I don't know if it is the thrill of breaking laws or the sheer fun of doing something random with a stranger. Miriam is no stranger to me but what we did in the past 24 hours is nothing short but illegal.

It was fun. Pure bliss and it reminded me of what I had with Doris during the first days of our meeting. Whatever Doris had in her bag of tricks, Miriam had an equivalent and even seemed to be better than Doris.

In the end, our short and quick encounter with Miriam was a thing that blurred the lines between our friendship. It was dangerous and even Miriam agreed with me.
"Tony, I'm afraid of Doris. Akijua, niko in big trouble."
"Why didn't you think about that when you came in here?"
"Umm. Because I didn't bother to."

Used protection

She was a wild one
That was when we had finished round one of candy crush. We were still naked after 20 minutes of serious fucking and other stuff.

I don't know how long she had stayed without having some fun but she was a wild one that night. Knowing too well that I'm not ready to be a father, I used some protection despite her protestations that the whole thing won't be sweet.

"So how will this thing go?"
"The usual way. You continue being her boyfriend and my friend."
"You won't tell?"
"Yeah. I don't want a fight with her."

That was true. She must have known about the ferocious attack on Susan that Doris was responsible for. She even told me about the various fights that Doris was involved in while at school. I also took this opportunity to inquire about the other side of Doris that I have never known.

She liked my game

"She loves you. Genuinely. Of all her previous partners, she seems to like you for who you are."
"Oh, I didn't know."
"In fact, I also liked you though you look broke."
"Broke?"
"Yes. Doris still liked you anyway. But your game is way too good. Better than Martins."

Flattery is deceiving. But she sounded legit.
She left today morning after yet another round of illicit sex. One thing is clear, that our boundaries have become dangerously blurred.

IS THIS A TRAP?

Even as the news bulletin runs on on my small television set, I am still shocked after Miriam unexpectedly showed up at my crib. She has just left her phone and is yet to come back. Probably she must be held up doing something crazy. Who knows?

I have never felt this scared before. Not since the day I was among the group of initiates who were being lined up for the ritual cut on a cold night near the river side. Not since I was almost caught with Doris when her father almost found out on our affair three weeks ago when we went to visit an ailing Susan.

Now she came after her friend was already back at school preparing for the mock exams that would start on Monday. What was she up to?
"Wow! Si ni baridi huko nje?"
She came inside wearing her jeans but a top which I recognized as Doris since it was the one she wore when we first met back in January.
Since I didn't have seats, she took one close to me on my bed. She wasn't that interested in the news since according to her, it was full of the same old shit just different days.
Courtesy.

Her weird proposal

But it was her proposal that really made me very suspicious of her motives.

"Imagine she left for school."
"Oh. I didn't know about it. In fact I was expecting her to come."
"Pole Tony. But she didn't tell you that her father wanted her back immediately."
"She sent you?"
"Ummm. Yeah,"

I tried to make her talk about Martins but she was obstinate and stalled on the topic. Come nine, she left for the washrooms that were outside and came back after a short while. She made her way to my position.

"Rasta, I have an offer to make." She then made a stunning proposal to me that we should have sex with her just to help her out of the cold dry spell she has been experiencing since she broke up with Martin last month.

What if she knows about it?

"What about Doris? If she knows about this?"
"She won't. You can still be her boyfriend and my fuckmate at the same time. Come on, Its nothing serious you know."

She sounded convincing but I wasn't convinced yet. Could she be working in cahoots with Susan? She could be treacherous like in the case of Martins. As I ponder about this, the door has opened and she is back. This time she looks even more seductive in a different outfit.....

Find out tomorrow.

LOST FOR WORDS.

Although she never came yesterday, I was sure that she wasn't going to pass by the stall any time this week. I wanted to believe, in fact I had written her move as a mind game strategy when the clock reached 7 and it was time to close the place without her showing up.

As I write this, she has just left the place after spending close to two hours with me trying to break down my resolve. She came in at exactly 4 pm and began regaling me with stories of how her recovery was uneventful and how Maxwell was such a gentleman.
"Susie, what exactly is it that you want?"
"Eish!, Stop being rude."

Wasn't Interested

Look who's talking about rudeness. Here she was trying to interfere with my work by telling me nonsense. I wasn't interested at all to know how she was doing nor was I willing to sit there and listen to bullshit about Maxwell being a gentleman or an asshole.

"Look, its' good to see that you are alive and I'm happy."
"Really?"
She left me lost for words
"You doubt it?"

She stopped for a while and looked at me. She had a lollipop which she sucked at it suggestively while she toyed with her weave that anyone would've mistaken it for natural hair. I could not tell what exactly was going through her mind at that moment, but I can tell you that it wasn't something good at all.
"Then buy for me some lunch."
That caught me by total surprise. Lunch at 4 PM? what was she smoking?

I couldn't participate anymore

"You aren't serious. Are you?"
"Yes. Let's go for lunch. There I'll tell you all you need to know about what really happened three weeks ago.'
"You already did."
'I was lying."
Damn this girl was so good at her mind games. But she would have to do more than that just to have me open up my wallet.
"Its already late."
"Did you know that Doris has already gone to school?"
Wait just a darn minute. Gone already? She had texted me this morning to get ready for tonight. Now she has left?
Susan left after seeing that I wasn't interested in that conversation anymore. I couldn't participate at all. Doris' drastic move had left me lost for words.

SHE'S BACK WITH A BANG.

The nightmare has just began. I had my doubts about who I say on that Monday evening but Tom confirmed them to me. That mysterious plump lady with a white crop top and blue high waist jeans was indeed Susan.

She looked a far cry from the thin and scrawny looking lady that was bedridden in Siloam hospital some few weeks ago. She seemed to have added some weight which was transferred proportionately at the 'right places' like the hips and her bust. Her skin was glowing and even with her glasses, she could resemble the American film star Valentino Jewels hands down.

She even allowed him to hold her!

She resembled American film star Valentino Jewels
"Cheki this pic that I took with her."
Wow, she was also this approachable that she could allow Tom to take a picture with her.  This was so uncharacteristic of her some few years ago where she was the talk of town.
"I don't believe it."

"Come check then." He gave me his new Infinix phone and checked his gallery. True to his word, there were several pictures of her and a selfie with her. What caught my eye was a full picture of them standing close to each other with his had over her waist.

"She even allowed you to hold her?"
"Yes. She had no problem with it."

Looking for revenge

What the hell happened to Maxwell? Why was she all alone now yet some weeks back, there were reports that she had eloped with him. Or was he just a rebound? I could not tell since like Trump, She was adept at playing mind games to throw anyone off her trail.

"Rasta, she said she would pass by here to say hello."
"Say what?" I was stunned by the revelation.
Tom repeated what he had just told me and left the premises to go serve the waiting boda boda guys with the servings of porridge and bread scones. I was left to prepare myself for the inevitable confrontation between me and a lady who maybe out looking for revenge.

Wednesday is turning out to be interesting for me. Now I have to look forward to an unexpected meeting with Susan as well as the favourite THRK programme on KTN and My Sweet Curse on Citizen TV.
Well, as Double M once aptly put it to the press, come baby come.

FRANCE WINS BUT PALS LOSE BETS!!

Finally the World Cup is over. Now I can fully focus on my job and on my life which had taken a predictable pause just for the beauty of sport. Didn't I say that this was the most convenient WC tournament ever as it was played within the timelines?
Yesterday's final between France and Croatia started at 5:30 PM in the evening. On Startimes TV. It also never rained, making sure that the signal wasn't disrupted at all. And true to form, the French made sure that this was a game to end in just 90 minutes and not the extra time that the Croats were getting used to play.
So the first half ended with France leading 2-1 thanks to a Mandzukic own-goal and a Griezmann penalty after Perisic handled the ball in his attempt to head the ball outside of play. Perisic had earlier on equalised with a wonderful left-foot shot.

It wasn't enough
The second half was a total collapse on the side of the Croats as Pogba and Mbappe doubled the lead to 4-1 with ruthless finishing. Both strikes were long range efforts that were aimed at Subasic's right side of the goal. It seems to me that the French had known of his weaker side thanks to the injury he had sustained in the semi-final duel with England.
Kante with the coveted cup
Subasic watched helplessly as the two goals whizzed past him on his right side. He couldn't dive either. But credit to Mandzukic who scored the second goal to avenge the earlier own goal.

A goal keeping howler
He also made history to be the first person to score in important final games. The goal came from a goal keeping howler from Lloris, the Spurs shot stopper. But it wasn't enough as France carried the day with a 4-2 win to ensure that they lifted the trophy for the second time.
I am also glad that my friends lost their bets. Tom gambled with nearly half of his afternoon's earnings on Croatia to win but lost. Sam and Emma too had high hopes on Croatia but lost. It is only Felix, Jay and I who got the predictions correct and as a result, get good returns.
All in all, The Russian party was a great expedition. Hope Qatar will be yet another festival of Football come 2022.

                                                              ************
I have just seen a slightly plump figure of a lady who greatly resembles Susan alight from a car just across the street. That lady had sun glasses on, had high waist jeans and a white crop top. I am not sure but before I could get a glimpse of her, she got back into the car and drove off.
Could it be Susan or some ghost?

DORIS IS SICK

I'm just from Doris' home where she is currently recuperating. She had arrived yesterday from the hospital after she fell sick while she was still in school. Her best friend told me that she was down with malaria and had to be whisked off for further treatment. The good thing is that she will be okay and after three days or so, she will be fit and back in school. The bad news is that we won't be meeting for our night of fun and debauchery as we often do.

That is understandable. Under these circumstances, I wouldn't want to add to her medical problems by trying to force the impossible. Her parents don't know about our little arrangement and I intend to make it remain like that. How I survived detection and spent close to twenty minutes at that closely guarded place is the subject of this blog today.

Then she came

courtesy of google
The day started with the usual drizzling and cold fog and mist. I made it to the place on time and played some reggae music to warm up the place. Tom came up and gave me the hot porridge and started the day with some chit chat as I booted up the computers ready to make the first sale.

Then she came.

I'm talking about Miriam, who was also at home. I didn't want to think of it as a coincidence that the two best friends are at home at the same time. I hope that when Doris gets better and when we meet next month she will be able to tell me about the whole thing.

"Sasa ras,"
"Poa. Siku mingi?"
"Yeah."

The ruse worked

After we talked about movies, she broke the news to me and invited me to give her company later on when she was visiting Doris. I agreed knowing that Jay won't be around in the afternoon and Felix had agreed to cover for me after I tipped him with a quarter bottle of his favourite booze.

"Shika hizi" Miriam handed me a bunch of bananas. The disguise was that I was helping her to carry them to Doris place, hence remove any suspicion.
The ruse worked. I carried the bananas and placed it at their kitchen and saw Doris warming up at the fireplace.  She smiled and winked at me furtively and I winked back. I had wished to hold her in a tight embrace but that was never meant to be thanks to the presence of her mother.

Miriam went into the kitchen and joined the two ladies in a discussion. I had to contend with staying outside and put up with her father's tasteless chats about the state of Kenyan politics.
Though we never talked, I feel like I scored vital bonga points with her. Thanks to Miriam.

BEFORE THE WORLD CUP ENDS..

France will face off with Croatia in a nail biting final that will be played in Moscow this Sunday. Before this showdown, Belgium and England will meet again for the 3/4th place playoff on Saturday after facing off in the final group game where the red devils scrapped through courtesy of a 1-0 win.
After all this, life will return to the usual state for yet another 4 years before the show piece begins in Qatar come 2022.

I'm happy because this year's showpiece was held at time zones that were favourable to me unlike 4 years ago where we had to watch it under extreme conditions. Imagine we had to watch the game at 1 AM in the morning? The group games especially were played at odd times. That time, I was just a restless clean shaven dude waiting to join college. Tom was just starting out on his food hawking venture and Jay was still running his stall like a lone ranger.

I hope to be a Video Producer

Doris was just a scrawny shy 14 year old girl and Susan was the then village hot cake who hoarded all the attention from the guys. I was also still hurting from being dumped by Emma who had taken off with Maxwell. Therefore, that tournament was a nice distraction from my troubles. Heaven knows how much fun we had back then.
Sam was also knuckling down on small contract jobs as a foreman and supervisor. He wasn't on the payroll yet unlike now where he has a beautiful secretary and an air conditioned office to cool off after making supervisory rounds at the various construction projects in the county. His rise from the almost broke engineer to the fairly wealthy man he is now is inspiring me to keep moving on from my current job of selling movies and series. I hope to be a Video producer myself and put all these posts into visual forms one day.

We can all be happy

Now the WC is almost ending. I am out of college and hustling around here. If you had told me back then that I would be in a relationship with Doris, I would have laughed at you if not punched you in the face. But look at how time changes. Doris is my girlfriend and I work for Jay who is still grappling with troubles that a simple hair dresser is piling onto him. Speaking of which, Sylvia was just a bartender back in Bomet town before she enrolled at Vera Beauty College in Nairobi and moved here after entering into a relationship with Jay.
I only hope that the drama ends and the peace and harmony of those years return. The Bible tells us that the plans of man belong to man but the answer comes from God. It is only He who knows the future.
I wish we can all be happy. That is my hope and prayer.

JAY'S NEW WAR

It has been raining here in Kericho for the past three days and the power has not been stable either. But what that has remained stable is the endless drama here at Jay Movies and Clothing stalls where we break our backs to ensure that we earn a living and Jay gets the money to honour a child support deal with Sylvia.
Just when we thought that we had seen the end of the drama, another twist to the plot comes up. Sylvia made her way to this stall and made a bee line for Jay's space where he was busy balancing the books.
"Why are you not answering my calls anymore?"
"Will you take another court order to force me?"

We all restrained ourselves from laughing

We could have laughed were it not for the cold and the oddity of the place. Jay could be as sarcastic but funny as well.
"How will you know about the progress of your child?"
Jay gave a loud but oddly sounding laughter. It was the first time in 2018 where we heard him laugh.
"Now it is my child? I told you I don't want anything to do with that thing you claim to be my son. Aren't you happy that you will be getting 30 grands from me?"
"That thing is your son. Like it or not."
Since our offices were that close, we could eavesdrop effortlessly. Even the salon girls close by stopped their activities to listen to the shouting match.
"Look, get out of here and go do something productive instead of scheming to extort money from men. You lazy woman."

She has threatened to shut us down

"And why can't you stop spreading your seeds if you cannot take care of the offspring?"
Ouch! That was awful. Tom winced in pain as if he was the one who was being insulted. I could see Felix, the technician struggle to contain his laughter. Jay clicked loudly and slapped the offending Sylvia so hard that she gave out a large scream.
We all rushed to Jay's defence by shielding him from Sylvia's wild punches. Eventually, the women stepped in and pulled her away as she went on a tirade, screaming insults at Jay and the rest of us.
"You scream the way you want. But you will die of AIDS you loose woman. You can't sleep around and get pregnant and force it on me."
That was how Monday ended. It is Wednesday and we are all in a tense mood. Sylvia has threatened to close down the shop and even have all of us arrested. Will she do it?

GOOD GIRL GONE BAD

When a good girl goes bad, what are you gonna do? Run and tell her dad...
Those are the lines to the Sauti Sol featuring Patoranking hit song melanin. I suppose most of you have forgotten about Sheila, Tom's previous girlfriend whom I praised for her modesty and hard working traits.
Good news is that she still is. In fact, she is reported to have made arrangement to open up her own tailoring shop that would sooner than later. It all depended on the Kenya Highlands Sacco to approve her loan application. Hope it goes well.
The bad news however is that she has gone rogue. She is no longer the good girl that Tom used to know. First of all, I don't know her. I barely even know her other than the fact that she was Tom's crush before they had some nasty fallout.

Escaped the club shooting

"Ras, imagine Sheila is now a slut?"
"What do you mean a slut?"
"She wears miniskirts, takes alcohol and rolls with sponsors."
I had to let him repeat that because it sounded too good to be true. Sheila  is doing all that? I didn't believe it till Tom showed me a short clip on his new smartphone that reinforced everything that he had just accused Sheila of.

"Remember that cop who killed one and injured a lady in Litein just last week?"
"Yes."
"She was there. But she walked out with some stranger before that cop came in and started the melee."

Should I take Tom's choice?

I was shocked but I was glad that she wasn't caught out in that hellish shower of bullets on that fateful June 26th shooting. But I was curious to know where he got that clip.
"Top secret my fren. But it has confirmed what I have been suspecting all along."
That reminded me of Doris and her clubbing ways which I wasn't comfortable with. I have never visited a club with her and I have refused her several entreaties to have get my company in her several clubbing outings. On those occasions, it is the evil Miriam who went out with her.
There is a saying that if you walk with wolves, you will learn how to howl. So should I break off my relationship with Doris the way Tom did with Sheila?
That is the road I haven't taken.

NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN

It has been quite tough to get time to post here thanks to the moody Jay, the store owner. He was released yesterday after making a deal with the plaintiff (Sylvia) and the matter was rested albeit for a while till he defaults on the now 30,000 shilling a month in child support payments.
"Rasta, get on with the work. Or else there will be no off days for you!
I knew better than to argue with your boss. To get a job nowadays in this age of mercurial sugar and cat-filled samosas is hard. We are in the age of tano-terror you know.
I can't help but marvel at the wicked power of women over men. The courts are clearly against the menfolk. In his case, the judge was a woman, the complainant was a woman, the child officers were women. Even the court registers were women save for the men who were only the police officers. All this I got thanks to Jay who loudly complained in his cameo performance at lunch hour yesterday.

Lodged complaints over this

"Now we all have to contend with police men visiting our premises every month. To get the monies for that stupid bitch, everyone will have to meet their weekly targets. You have no choice but to meet them. Also, your July salaries will delay a bit thanks to that woman."

Normally, we would have lodged complaints over this but not on that particular day. He was speaking animatedly with his constant movements of the hands. He was also foaming in the mouth too. Have I mentioned that he had banned everybody in that stall from inviting Sylvia or anyone associated with that woman. They should not even be served in his stall. For good.
Too bad for Tom who had earlier on in May, had harboured intentions of courting the girl. Now Tom had to find ways of seeing her in secret without Jay knowing. Or else, his tender to supply the lunch and the evening porridge will get cancelled.

The Moron himself

That is the only plausible reason that I can give to my readers as to why I was absent. As we speak, Jay has just left the stall to meet with someone in town, so this is the perfect time to post this one before the killjoy comes back.
So that means that things will never be the same gain here at Jay Movies and clothing. Thanks to that gold-digging bitch, we all have to work hard and try to help Jay bear the burden of paying the court ordered monies. But I also have to blame the moron himself for refusing to pay 10,000 before the feminist-led court upped the amount to 30.
Just like the Emma affair, here at work, things have changed for the worse.

SHE'S PREGNANT!

I cannot believe the news that I've just gotten from Tom. After last week's successful event where it was confirmed that Sam would marry Emma in a month's time, I had this lingering doubts over Emma's tummy after she gave me a goodbye hug. I felt a small bump down there that not characteristic of hers.
I had to gather some courage and inquire it from Sam who wasn't available as he was busy at work. Emma was not around too since she had to go to Nairobi to handle some pressing matters. Tom had the information that I wanted and he was only glad and comfortable to share the news with me.
"Ras, Sam hit the jackpot."
"What do you mean?"
"She is expecting Sam's child."
"You cannot be serious."
"I am. It seems that Sam followed your advice."

I recalled the days of April where Sam had some lingering doubts about Emma's fidelity. He had come to visit me when I was sick and there I had prescribed to him about the solution that would solve his problem once and for all.

A mystery to me

How he managed to do it is still a mystery to me.
"Now she will never leave the guy. There's something to bind them together."
"I get it."
"Aren't you happy that your advice worked?"
"I am."
I was not. This meant that things will never be the same again. I had grown used to her company especially when she had to deal with the problems of her relationship with Sam. Once she gives birth, her energies and focus would shift to her baby and her man. There would be no more chit chats with her nor will she have time to visit me. I don't know what type of feelings that I still have for her but they just can't go away.
Even after she let me down to go for Maxwell who is now Susan's husband.
Truly, things will never be the same again.

SURPRISES GALORE!

It i not just in Russia where shocks are being registered, but also here in my locale where big things have been happening. Of course they do not match up to the excitement in Russia where the hosts made it to the last eight, Germany bowed out of the competition and Belgium had to come from 2-0 down to beat a resolute Japan to reach the quarter finals.
I have been away in Russia following the action. No, I didn't travel, but I was following the game through the television.

Jay gets arrested

Just yesterday, two administration cops arrived at the stall and arrested Jay. There were two smartly dressed females whom I later learned that were representatives from the Children's court. The push and pull with Sylvia had come down to this. Maybe they were tired of his stunts that he did to avoid paying child support to Sylvia. The DNA tests came out exactly as we expected. A positive match. Even when you look at the baby, it has an uncanny resemblance to Jay. I don't have a child yet so I won't judge him over his reluctance to part with 10,000 shillings a month in child support payments. He must have valid reasons for doing so.

Susan elopes with Max

No one saw this coming. Once she was released from Hospital on Sunday, it is said that Maxwell, Emma's former boyfriend, picked her up in his uncle's Probox car and drove off to an unknown destination. He parents were least concerned given how much of a bother she had become. The financial cost of her recuperation at the hospital would have been expensive were it not for her father's connections with a local politician who owns the clinic. Too bad for her because Emma won't feel it.

Martins gets caught

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. So Miriam was not yet done with Martins whom she deliberately lured into a trap. Martins was called out to visit her school where the trouble began. The watchmen roughed him up when he tried entering the compound and Miriam disowned the poor fellow who was embarrassed in front of the sympathetic girls.

How I got all of this? Just follow this space for more.
