Before I start ranting here, I'd like to wish most of my siblings, and cousins success in the ongoing KCPE exams. Also to the rest of the 1,000,000 strong candidates sitting for this exam countrywide.
That said, the past two weeks hasn't been that easy to me, to Jay and Felix.
We have been playing hide and seek with the kanjos over license issues. In particular, the movie selling business has taken a big hit.
Last week on Thursday, some fellows came and harassed Felix with questions over our selling of pirated movies. He was lucky though since he was drunk and the fellows couldn't get a coherent answer from him, so they left to raid the neighboring stall which was shut down.
I got the call about the whole thing from Jay who warned us to avoid the place till Monday. He wasn't going to bail us out in case we got arrested by the fellows who meant business.
I had the longest break since I started this job last year.
In the mean time, Shay has been avoiding me like shit. Initially, I tried to coax her into talking to me but after some rude responses one time too many, I chose to stand down. I fell back into my training and decided that if she has decided to cut me loose, then I should let things be the way they are.
I felt bad because I should've tapped that chocolate ass that night, not the light-skinned Doris.
Today I end October without having accomplished my goal. Will it be possible next month which begins tomorrow?
I hope so.
************************
I'm seated at the stall waiting for the first customer to serve when I see Sheila talking with my friend Steve. I've been waiting here for his porridge which comes in handy in the cold Wednesday morning since I didn't prepare anything today. The milkman delayed with the supplies and I was broke.
Not to worry as today is the pay day.
"Stevo! uji itaweza ama?"
"Kiasi tu Rasta."
I wonder what they are talking about. They had broken up in June-for all I know- but with lovers, you never know.
I also wish my brother all the best as he graduates on Friday.
All about the brez factor here in this blog. I will share to you about my small world and a look at the lives that revolve around here in Kericho. I will also market upcoming videos and other stuff too. Don't forget to follow me to get the Brez Factor.

THE NEIGHBOUR'S DAUGHTER-UNEXPECTED COMPLICATIONS
I've not been having a good week especially after my last meeting with Shay on Saturday. This week the KCSE exams have started and she would be busy throughout the week since she is tackling the three sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
We have been close the past few days, but not close enough to warrant my inclusion into the friendzone and not that close to quickly burn out the excitement of our newly found association. But as the naysayers said, good things always end.
I didn't believe it till Doris came on a Sunday and in the process, ruin my date with destiny.
She came just after the conclusion of the Churchill show and just as I was getting ready to receive Shay who had at last agreed to spend the night with me.
"Doris! Kuna shida?"
"Yes. Nimepatwa shule."
I was wondering what could that be. Was she pregnant this time round or did Miriam put her in some deep shit?
She told me about Miriam who was caught with a phone and ordered to bring her parents today.
"Na wewe?"
"That phone was mine." By that time, she had finished all the food that I had brought from the Stall and the tea in my thermos. I was glad that Shayla didn't come as we had agreed because it would have been messy given the way Doris turns violent. Remember what she did to Susan back in July?
Of course she couldn't just stay at my house, eat my food and drain my tea without giving me some form of appreciation. We had sex that night and when she left early in the morning to catch her father's ride to her school in Londiani, Shay had decided to call it off the whole thing.
"Tony, I can see bado uko na issues with that girl. Solve them before we can continue with us."
Wow, just like that. That was how I missed my chance to tap that lovely ass on Sunday.
As we speak, Shay has blocked me on all platforms. I can't even see her bloody Whatsapp status or poke her on Facebook.
Did I err by hosting Doris?

THE NEIGHBOUR’S DAUGHTER: SHE LIKES ME.
She came back from her abrupt detour. I cannot tell if
it was on a Sunday or Monday but I got my chance to speak to her this morning. The
rumor that her uncle had died in the Londiani bus crash was swiftly crushed by
her.
“Hakuna mtu alikufa kutoka kwetu. Nlienda Brooke kwa
auntie.”
“Oh, poa tu. Good to see you back.” She entered the
bathroom while I struggled to finish doing my night dishes. As a bachelor, I
still got to do the dishes but a my own convenient time. Hopefully, this would
not be for long should I get a wife or a long-term girlfriend.
Anyway, when she got out after five minutes, she
stopped by my door side in her wet leso and asked if I was busy for the night.
“No. Mbona?”
“I want us to talk.”
“Fine.”
The whole of today I’ve been day dreaming instead of
selling music and films. I hope Jay won’t fire me.
***********************************
She found me watching the Ten Commandments, a TV
program running on KTN. Since she knows me and my room, she didn’t have to
knock. She sat down at the plastic stool and waited for the commercial break to
launch into her agenda.
I was elated and frightened at the same time since I was about to break one of the 10 commandments; Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbour’s Property. I was designing the plans, the grand scheme to rid her of those black leggings and a jumper. I thanked Simon for resupplying me with those government issued condoms.
I had a sixth feeling that it would happen.
“Rasta, yule dem ni nani kwako?”
“Nani huyo?”
“Yule light skin.” I had completely forgotten about Doris!
“Nothing. She’s just a friend. Why ask?”
“Because I think I like you. Na sitaki mambo na ex
files hapa.” What was that again?
Long story short, we didn’t fuck. She didn’t pledge
anything about it when she left at exactly 11PM.
**********************************
Emma and Sam are doing just fine. They now have a son
who is called Andrew. I think I need to get a home and stop dilly dallying with
Form Four school girls and get a proper woman. This visit to Brooke left me
feeling great and nostalgic at the times gone by.

THE NEIGHBOURS DAUGHTER: DEATH'S SHADOW
DID THE BUS CRASH AFFECT HER?
It wasn't just Kakamega County that was affected by the grisly car crash that killed 58 people two days ago, but my neighbour Shay too. I never knew that one of her distant uncles was in that ill fated crash till I heard her scream the word 'Jesus.'
Then I heard her close her door, never to return.
On a first thought, I ignored it thinking it was one of her random admirers who had posted some lewd comment on her social media updates or someone mailed to her his ugly dick pic and she had gone to the cops to report that son of a bitch. Just today where I was told that she had travelled to Kakamega to confirm if the news was true.
Simon, our nosy caretaker confirmed that indeed the girl was shocked by the news that she left the plot to see her parents and she never came back that day.
"Rasta, ni kama uncle wake alikufa kwa hio ajali."
"Ndio maana she was screaming that loud?"
"Kabisa."
I began to wonder what will come out of her preparations for the KCSE exam. Will the death of her uncle affect her? Remember she had told me that she couldn't afford to fail this time round as her father would be disappointed in her.
"Life sio fair kabisa."
We switched to some other topic. I wanted to send her a condolence message but I didn't have her number. Besides, I wasn't sure if what Simon was saying was indeed true or just a figment of his cigarette-fuelled imagination.
I will have to confirm once she comes back.
*******************
Its' been long since I last saw Emma and Sam, now wife and husband in a long time now. Unlike Steve, Felix and Jay whom we interact on a daily basis, Sam and Emma were now living in Brooke after they got married in July.
So this weekend, Sam has invited me over to his home. I have to be there so that I can see how my engineer friend has fared on in marriage. I also want to see how my high school crush and ex-girlfriend is doing.
See y'all next week.

THE NEIGHBOUR'S DAUGHTER: EXAM PROBLEMS.
HER EXAM JITTERS.
I continued with my own life despite the high taxes and the rainy weather currently experienced in Kericho. Jay, my boss back at the Stall had wired my dues to my account (read M-PESA) and I had settled all those outstanding utility bills including rent, power and water.
There was nothing that would have convinced me that Shay or Shayla to my esteemed readers, would honour her promise and visit me in my room.
But she disappointed my low expectations and came on a rainy Sunday night.
Here's how it went down.
***************
Just before I could settle down with my supper of ugali and maziwa mala plus fried eggs and catch the latest episode of Being Bahati on NTV at 7.30PM, I heard someone knock on my door. I thought it was Simon the caretaker passing over to give out the Rent receipts. I opened the door and froze on the spot.
It was Shay. The chocolate skinned beauty that has been giving me wet dreams at night.
I ushered her in and she settled on my bed because I got no chairs. I was happy that she had turned down my offer to share my supper. I wasn't planning to anyway.
The conversation had to wait till 9 after Bahati's show and Churchill ended. By then I had sized her and the assessment wasn't good.
"Rasta, aki niko na worries juu ya paper."
"Mbona?"
"Nikifail na vile nime repeat? my dad ataboeka na mimi."
She went on to describe how much the exam meant to her and how she wished to join campus where life was all good. Deep down I wished I would've told her that University today is a scam that only left you with a useless degree and a mountain of HELB debt to pay off. Plus no prospects of a job.
But I didn't.
*****************
When she left at 10 PM, I reflected on what could have happened if I had propositioned sex to her. She would have left disgusted or could have accepted it. All the same, I would have wasted time trying to remove those tight jeans she had on, pulling them down over her juicy butt.
Maybe tomorrow or next time when lady luck stops acting like a bitch and smile my way again.

THE NEIGHBOURS' DAUGHTER: HARD TO GET
HARD TO GET
She never came by my place. Not that I was expecting her to, but given the manner in which she was looking at me, I could feel that she was actually itching to know who Doris was and what our relationship was.
So I busied myself watching the Europa League matches on Star Times till midnight when I switched off the electronics. As I dropped into my bed, I smelt the sweet perfume of Doris that she had left on my bed.
Then I saw her black bra, damn!! This will ultimately give her an excuse to come by my room later on when she completes her papers. No problem given that she would have found a better partner that would stick with her for good or not.
**********
Someone woke me up very early in the morning. On first thoughts, that could have been the landlord's agent collecting the month's rent. Jay, my boss back at the stall had promised to release all our dues today and I was on a good footing with the caretaker, Simon and his agents. The knocking persisted.
I got up and dressed up. Good thing I always had an emergency survival kit which had everything, from spare cash to spare clothes and medicine. So when I reached the door, I was surprised to see Shayla in her usual leso waiting for her turn to use the bathroom.
"Gai! Kumbe its you!"
"Ya."
"Umenistua kabisa. I thought ni Simon looking for his rent."
I rubbed my eyes and stifled a yawn. She didn't look particularly in a hurry to leave.
"Utaingia ama?"
"Hapana. Pole kwa jana. Buda alikam."
"Oh, haina shida. Ile siku utakuwa free utanicall tu." She chuckled gently,
"How will I call you yet sina number yako?"
I wanted to give her the number but I thought the better of it.
"Simon atakupea." Then the door to the bathroom opened. She sprinted fast towards it without looking back.

For the love of me, I just want to fuck this girl and leave her, I hope this wish comes true.

THE NEIGHBOUR'S DAUGHTER
UNFINISHED BUSINESS WITH DORIS
I was surprised to see her. Genuinely surprised. After a month since our break-up, I wasn't expecting her to step at my door at that hour of the night.
Remember, she's also a candidate and a boarder too!
"Sasa? I've missed you sana."
"Me too. How's school?"
"Shida tu. Akina Miriam ashaanza paper." She made herself comfortable on my unmade bed. She wasn't in the mood for supper but she made herself a nice warm cup of milk. That meant that the next day I had to fetch a new one.
Sorry for the rant, I got carried away.
Long story short, we had the best sex ever. Never mind that I had Mission Impossible: Fallout still running on my laptop. For two straight hours, we were on each other's body. It was clear that she too missed me given that she rode me like hell!!
"Kwani what have you been up to?"
'Job tu. Its been hard getting someone like you."
"Oh, wacha uwongo. Rasta akose dem?"
She didn't believe me. She told me about Steve the boring boy in her locale with whom she had been trying to pass time with. She was getting bored with the guy and had to do something drastic.
"I came over to see you."
"Santi..Na shule, kwani ulido?"
"Fees."
Then she reminded me of Miriam, that they had split. I knew why but she nevertheless told me about it.
"She was just jealous of me." That was all she could say. before we slept till morning.
******************
Early in the morning, I was back from the shop with my milk after escorting Doris back to her place when I saw Shayla, my neighbour's daughter. As usual, I said hello and passed on but she held me back.
"Rasta, yule alikuwa nani?"
"Who?"
'That girl mlitoka naye asubuhi?" So she was watching me?"
"No one. Si umechelewa?" I wanted her to leave me alone. I also didn't want to be seen with her. She had her school uniform on you know.
"Nitakam tuongee baadaye." She left without waiting for my answer. I was like, game on!
So tonight, I have a date with Shayla.

She hated news
I switched on the news but she wouldn't like to watch it. She hated news. Not when the cute boys are slitting throats of slay queens. That reminds me, I studied journalism for three long years yet the millennial kids out here don't read the fucking newspapers or watch the bloody news. All they care for is Lit 360, 10 over 10 and Being Bahati among other crappy series and goddamn American series.Sorry for the rant, I got carried away.
